DTMF decoder and encoder

DTMF decodes and encodes DTMF (Dual-tone multi-frequency) tones trough the phones speaker and microphone.Encoder: Always 2 tones are assigned to each key.The length of the tone and the pause between the tones can be set from 35ms to 1500ms.A total of 36 marco’s can be used to play phone numbers, ham radio auto patch numbers, amateur radio echolink ids any many more. The 36 macros can be saved to the phones/tablets memory. This way a unlimited amount of macros can be used. The DTMF tone length and the pause between the tones can be adjusted.Decoder: The decoder detects the DTMF tones and prints them on the screen. A sophisticated algorithm detects the tones even in noisy environments. Please let us know what you think. If you like DTMF please leave us a feedback at Google Market. It works

Needs more options You should be able to have an option where as the longer you hold down a key the longer it continues to make a sound. There should also be an option in the macros where you can enter the duration of each recorded tone. For instance if I dial "0501#A" I might want the tones of "0501#" to be long, but I want the tone of the "A" key to be a very short burst of tone. There are some devices that actually require this. This should be programmable in the macro options but it is not

The app does what it says it does. And it's pretty much the only decoder I I could find. But as other users have said this app would be heaps better if it was able to interface with tasker via system broadcasts or even if it just outputted to a log file. When you lock the screen the mic stops listening so I could need a way to run in the background hence why a tasker plugin makes more sense.. I had a few numbers register multi times when I had only generated the DTMF sound once..

This app simply does NOT work for use with your own smartphone !

Nice app, UI is a little outdated but it does as advertised. If it integrated with tasker or at least made some sort of system broadcast when DTMF tones were recieved it would be amazing. Especially if it could be done in the background and dtmf macros could be triggered by tasker or shortcut. Lots of potential in this app

Absolutely does not send tones through phone... Useless to interface with remote boxes

I thought it would record tones played during a conversation 8

Probably the best DTMF app on the market here. I've been using it for over a year now and it has come in handy for several projects that require generating and decoding DTMF tones. Would be cool if the designers upgraded it with some extra features. I own several other apps made by Wolphi LLC and they all perform flawlessly.
